Squid Ink and Smokescreen Combo Pack, 2 Skeins

This is listing is for TWO (2) skeins of yarn, ONE (1) skein of Squid Ink and ONE (1) skeins of Smokescreen in each pack. Totaling 900 yards. Please be sure to read the complete details of each skein as they are both produced using two separate dye techniques.

Squid Ink is an indie dyed 75/25 Merino Nylon superwash sock yarn. Wool is sourced from South American, mulesing free, and spun in Italy. 3-ply, 100 grams, and 450 Yards.

Squid Ink is a white base dyed in a low immersion process using a rich plum, a deep sea blue, and bright flamingo pink coral. Black speckles are swirled into the colors. Each skein is unique. The color way is NON-REPEATABLE meaning that every single skein, regardless of dye lot, will vary in how the colors combine and swirl which is what makes Squid Ink so unique and beautiful. The colors swirl in the water much like an ocean for a beautiful color pooling effect.

Smokescreen is an indie dyed 75/25 Merino Nylon superwash sock yarn. Wool is sourced from South American, mulesing free, and spun in Italy. 3-ply, 100 grams, and 450 Yards.

Smokescreen is a meduim-dark tonal gray dyed in a kettle dying process allowing the dye to strike with tonal variations, very little mixing is done in order to create the tonal variances. Each skein is unique.

Please remember that while the colorway is repeatable, skeins can always vary from dye lot to dye lot. If you need more than available in shop to match dye lots, please reach out to me and I can set up a custom order to insure matching dye lots. Please be sure to order as much as you need to insure that dye lots remain the same.

Although bleeding is very rare, this sometimes occurs in hand dyed yarn. Rest assured that yarn is soaked and rinsed multiple times prior to shipping to insure that any residual bleeding is minimized if any remains at all.
